My name is Shantille, and I would like to welcome you to TilleyTots Home Daycare – Your Child’s Home Away from Home! My daycare services are tailored to children and parents that want to get more out of their daycare experience. I am located in Kanata North, near the Klondike Road and Marconi Avenue intersection, close to the South March Public School and St. Isidore Elementary School. I look forward to taking the journey with you and your child as he or she embarks on new and exciting adventures as a TilleyTot. I take great pride knowing that I am helping to pave the way for a lifelong learning process as your child engages in active play and imaginative learning. I am a member of the Child Care Providers Resource Network (CCPRN), I have an up-to-date Police Check, and am certified in First-Aid and CPR.
I have 7 years of experience working with children, including everything from tutoring special needs children to babysitting to becoming a nanny for several families. My love for children and learning paved my way to University, in which I became a Teacher. Upon completion of my University Degree I began teaching in rural communities in Newfoundland, before following the love of my life to Ottawa. I live with my husband Jon, our daughter Penelope and 2 lovely cats, Mika and Milo. I am a bright, energetic, positive, passionate and loving person. I believe in a gentle approach to childcare, where my goal is to grow a trusting relationship with you and your child, so that we can work together to gain a better understanding of his or her specific needs.
