My name is Anna, and for the last 11 years, I run Baby Blossom Daycare from my Hamilton Mountain home. I have been an RECE for over 14 years, and after having my first daughter, I decided to stay home and offer childcare for other families. I was an assistant supervisor in a large daycare for years; however, being my own boss and providing quality care from my home to deserving children is much more rewarding!
I work from the entire lower level of our house (living room, play room and kitchen and sleep room) and the backyard for outdoor play. Baby Blossom Daycare offers a loving, supportive, and positive learning experience for all ages. Parents are provided a peace of mind that their child is receiving optimal care in a healthy, safe 'home' like environment, while being exposed to stimulating experiences! Parents receive daily write ups about their child's important day, allowing them to stay connected with their child's entire daycare experience and not missing a second of their childhood! We start our daily routine with a healthy snack, followed by calendar and group circle time. We learn through Play Based Learning as advised by CCEYA. They are offered creative time each day as well, creating an art work- theme related- for mom and dad to see upon pickup. We have 2 hours of outside time each day- and the kids enjoy a variety of large motor activities which are all located in the backyard, at the local indoor gym or at one of our neighbourhood parks. After outside time, the kids sit down to a home cooked meal! I provide a monthly menu for the parents to follow, so that they are aware of what the children are eating on a daily basis. We serve a mixture of local, organic and fresh foods as well as Organic Milk daily.
After lunch, its quiet time! The younger children sleep on their daycare cots, and the older children rest with quiet books, puzzles and colouring- and some theme related DVDs. (depending on what’s available at the library!)
With years experience, and after having 2 of my own girls, your child will definitely be taken care of in his/her new home daycare. Each child receives the individual attention that they deserve, learning in the process and not getting lost in the shuffle like at the large daycare centers.

My hours are from 7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday
