Hi! I'm a nurse turned homeschooling mom of three little boys ages 5, 4 and 2.5:) I've been doing home daycare for 4 years now and have loads of experience with children of all ages.
We have fun filled, busy days with lots of learning thrown in throughout the day. We like to spend our mornings out in the fresh air with other kids for exercise and socialization with outings to the park, YMCA play gyms and playgroups. We have some quiet time after lunch followed by a little organized "school" time. We focus on different things from day to day...letters/sounds, sight words, numbers, colors, shapes, writing, time, calendar, even homemaking skills with simple chores and baking:) We also learn a lot through reading great books!
I provide a safe, smoke and pet environment with a fully fenced backyard. I have my CPR and First Aid certification and lot's of references.
