A child care full day home daycare program focused towards toddlers and children up to 5 years of age. Older children are welcomed into my home for morning and afternoon programs; care and accommodations will be made to suit their needs.
Itty Bitties' educational program will include various learning opportunities through conversation, song, story time, art work and creative play. Children will have opportunity for indoor and outdoor play and will be encouraged to express themselves through artwork, music and dance. Throughout the day, children will be provided with a healthy morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.
My name is Kelly Voelker and I am an experienced Child and Youth Worker. I obtained an Advanced Child and Youth Worker diploma in spring 2010, and I have worked in various environments ranging from the OCDSB, OCCSB, to several youth agencies in the Ottawa area. I have experience with young children as well as youth in providing education, social skills, life skills in both public and private practices. I have a strong love for children and believe that their experiences today will shape them for tomorrow.
Children at Itty Bitties Home Daycare will first and foremost feel welcomed and cared for. I believe that making a child feel comfortable is the most important above all. I believe in providing structure as consistency is crucial for children's success.
Admission conditions
We are a pet friendly home with two small dogs and a cat. To ensure focus and attention is towards daily daycare activities, the dogs will be separated from the daycare and will never be in contact with children.
