I am a 43 year old mom of two incredible children, 7 yr old boy and 9 yr old girl. I offer daytime babysitting, after school care for children ages 3 - 14 in my home in the Lakeview area close to Port Credit. I home school my children so I understand a lot about different learning techniques and how to motivate children. I also am very aware of holistic approaches to teaching and health care. I charge $14/hr per child or $14/hr first child and $10/hr sibling. This includes pickup and drop off ( if in our neighbourhood, otherwise pickup and drop off is extra $10/day ),healthy organic homemade snacks and meals, help with homework, bringing to extra curriculum activities such as swimming or hockey, library trips, when weather is warmer going for walks to parks, go for outings such as trips to Zoo, indoor play grounds, AGO, ROM, Maple syrup festival. I have a clean driving record and have taken my CPR and First Aid course 4 times. It has expired and no parent has asked for me to retake but am willing to if required. We have a fun, safe and clean smoke free home. I do have a little dog who just adores children. He is hypo-allergenic so doesn't shed and safe for anyone with allergies to dogs. Children are our gifts and we must give them the right tools to flourish and grow while giving them a safe environment to explore. I would love to be part of your children's caregiving and I hope to fit into your families schedule.
