I am a graduate of the Early Childhood Education program. I am a mother to two wonderful boys aged 13 & 17. I have 17+ years of experience doing home childcare and 2 years experience in a childcare setting. I have first aid/CPR training and my home is smoke-free. We have a beagle puppy who is very good with children.
I provide a safe, fun and loving home environment for children while parents work. I treat each child as an individual and take their interests into planning activities. I offer a flexible schedule based on the children’s needs. I offer two nutritious snacks and a healthy lunch each day. I provide time for napping/resting and outdoor play time. We do lots of fun activities such as crafts, sensory play, circle and story time, songs, games, music and dancing. We go neighbourhood walks to explore nature. I have a fully fenced backyard with toys and swing set as well as fun outdoor toys.
