My name is Carlie and I am a child care provider in the process of becoming registered with the Kelowna Child Care Society (I am just awaiting the final home safety inspection). I was a licensed child care provider in the Lower Mainland until recently moving to Kelowna. My location is in Rutland, near Hollywood Road and Highway 33. I am hoping to continue caring for children five and younger.
I studied social work in university, with courses in child and youth care and child development. I have taken the Good Beginnings child care course, have up-to-date first aid training, and I have had a criminal record check done. I take advantage of teachable moments as they come, but I also have structured activities and a preschool curriculum for older toddlers and preschoolers. I will provide snacks.
I have five-year old and 18-month old daughters. We have a fully fenced back yard and are only a short walk to Hollywood Park. Our house isn't the largest, but it is filled with love and laughter. I look forward to getting to know your little ones.
