A flexible, full-time opening is available for a child aged approximately 6 months to 4 years to join my one year old son and I. We are located on a quiet street in Centretown, close to many other young families, and within walking distance of the Glebe, Old Ottawa South, and Little Italy. I am offering a child the kind of one-on-one care, learning, and nurturing that my own son will be receiving with his new playmate. I believe in daily outdoor, social, and learning activities, such as Storytime at the library, a quality selection of playgroups, and walks to the beautiful parks close to us. I will provide nutritious snacks and lunchtime, and will ensure that activity and engagement are balanced with time for the little ones to rest in my clean, tranquil home. My little one and I have a beautiful flow to our days and we are looking forward to sharing this.
The position is available from April 1, 2015, to September 30, 2015, and would be perfect for transitioning a young child from one-on-one care with mom before placing the child in a bigger daycare setting. As daytime care would involve just my son and I, this is a unique opportunity to have affordable, devoted care for your child.
