This is an RLNR in-home center. Meaning I am not a licensed center but that I am registered with CCRR and MCFD. I am ECE certified and have been for about 4yrs. I have been in the field for at least 9yrs now, more if you include my teen/young adults years of babysitting and my childhood where I helped my mother with her in-home daycare. I also help in Sunday school at the church my family attends and was a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley for a number of years. I now have a son of my own who is 2yrs old. I am first-aid certified, ECE certified, my husband and I both have clear criminal record checks, I have a clean driving record and plenty of references.
I have my center in my home but the kids do have a specific play room that they play in most of the day, a nap room which I also use to store extra toys so that I can rotate toys as needed and my theme boxes which I use for circle times, etc... (not cluttered, very organized). I also have a very large, enclosed, balcony with lots of toys on it for the kids to play outside. We often go for walks to local parks and spend time playing at those parks when the weather allows for it and we go on monthly - semi-monthly field trips to various places depending on the theme we're learning about.
I try to run my center as close to licensing standards as possible when it comes to how I run my program as well as my standard of cleanliness. We also do circle times, art, food fun activities, and much more.
Admission conditions
Must be okay with cats, we have one in our home. She is friendly and mostly keeps to herself.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
