I'm a certified teacher taking a sebatical to be home with my young children. I have experience with special needs, with part one of the specialist. I have a criminal record check, done yearly with the board office.
I run a friendly, warm and educational based daycare. Our days consist of outdoor play, songs, crafts, games (all educational), reading, puzzles, structured educational activities(talking about letters and sounds, working with numbers, practice writing etc.) and organized free play. We do a school drop off and pick up each day and occasionally go to the Ontario ealry years centre and gym programs with parents permission and if car seats are provided.
My daycare is ran in a pet free and smoke free home. I run my daycare out of my basement, it is warm and cozy and child centred. It provides an inviting, safe, friendly, warm and stimulating environment. Any napping children sleep upstairs.
My strengths as a daycare provider are that I understand young children. I'm a mother of 4 young children as well as a kindergarten teacher. I understand and can anticipate childrens needs and can modify and accommodate to each child. I am warm and caring and treat every child as if they are my own. |

Admission conditions |

If you're looking for after school care, you must reside in the neighbourhood, as I cannot drive with all the kids. I am more than willing to accommodate teachers. No extra cost for summers off or holidays. |
