No Place Like Home is a second home to your little ones, where they can feel safe, loved and respected.
A little bit about myself:
My name is Sofia and I am a mother of two (aged 10 and 9). I have been running a home daycare for the past 7 years, building relationships with families and bonding with the children that have become an extension to my own family.
Our home:
-Pet/smoke free home
-Child-proof
-Each child has their own bedroom for nap time
-Fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide/smoke detector
Our program: Children participate in age appropriate activities that enhance their cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
-home cooked meals
-small ratio 1:3 (I only provide care for up to 3 kids)
-art, crafts, puzzles, play dough
-singing, reading, dancing, play instruments, dressing up, sensory bins
-And lots of hugs
Huge backyard:
-play with the sandbox, water table, slides, trampoline
-ride our toy cars, tricycles, play soccer/games, baby pool
We are conveniently located across the street from Applegrove drop-in centre where we meet up/or make new little friends and play some more.
Field trips: Kew Gardens (castle park), greenwood park, the beaches, libraries, Riverdale farms, and splash pads. |
