If you are looking for a nurturing, safe, and happy home for your little one to spend his/her days, this is the place for you! I have been running my home daycare program since August 2015, and previously had been working with young children as well as children with special needs for 8 years, both in home and in preschool settings. I have an up-to-date police check and am certified in Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR.
I am a mother of two little boys, currently aged 4.5 and 2.5 years old. Our home is child-proofed and clean, and I follow the Canada Food Guide when providing meals and snacks for the little ones. We love to go outside, weather permitting, whether it be playing in our fenced-in yard or taking a short walk to neighbourhood parks. I understand the importance of providing a balanced schedule for toddlers/preschoolers, through music, free play, sensory play, story time, gross motor activities, and quiet time, and strive to provide this balance every day. As every child is unique, I find it very rewarding to connect with each child and figure out what works for them. I believe in building strong connections with my clients and keeping open communication with parents so each child has his/her needs met.
I am currently looking to fill 1 full time space for a 2-4 year old.
