At Kinder College we believe that daycare is a time for beginnings, for learning lots of new things, and making friends. Our focus is to provide children with positive experiences which is essential for later daycare and school success. Our goal at Kinder College is for children to love learning. Regardless of age, every day a child has new experiences that foster their curiosity, creativity, and development. I am a qualified Elementary School Teacher, graduating from Simon Fraser University with a BGS and BED, including two minors in Learning Disabilities and Curriculum & Instruction. After completing my degrees at Simon Fraser University, I was admitted to the University of Northern British Columbia where I obtained my Master's Degree in Special Education. I am also a mother and step-mother to three wonderful children. Being a parent has enabled me to understand the unique journey of each child, as well as the developmental stages from an early age. My professional knowledge and personal experience combined provides me with a well-rounded understanding of what children need at an early age, and where they need to be as they enter the public school system.
