Home Day Care in Henderson area currently has one full time and one part time spot available in September. Minutes from Henderson PS, Welborne PS and Our Lady of Lourdes as well as several parks. A clean, smoke free, pet free child friendly home with a private, fully fenced yard in a quiet, well-established neighborhood.
A bit about myself:
-I am a 32 year old mother of 3 lovely little girls, aged 5, 2 and 5 months. I truly love kids and am very excited to welcome your little ones, to help guide them in their journey of learning and growing!
-Have experience teaching children of various age groups. I am university and college educated, and can provide character references and CPIC upon request.
-My husband and I are both born and raised in Kingston, we love this city and everything it has to offer. I look forward to raising our family here.
-My eldest daughter is in kindergarten at JR Henderson PS. Our home is a 5 minute walk to both Henderson and Welborne schools.
What I offer:
-A warm, clean, caring home environment for children ages 1-4. Days are structured with arts & crafts, circle time, activities, outdoor time (weather permitting), songs, and playtime.
-Each child will have their own room to sleep in for nap/quiet time.
-Weekly meal plans sent home every Friday for the following week.
Homemade nutritious snacks and lunches. I will provide 2 snacks and lunch and everything is always homemade (I love to cook!). I use only whole wheat bread, rice and pasta, real fruits, vegetables, and meat, no processed foods and sugar free juice. Very accommodating to allergies/dietary restrictions.
-Daily communication booklet sent home, with notes about your child’s day, how they ate/slept what we did, and any problems or concerns. You may also voice any concerns or questions you may have in the communication booklet.
-Monthly newsletter showcasing any special events, celebrations, funny tidbits, photos or news to share with parents.
-Monthly and weekly themes, incorporated into our day through crafts, activities and songs.
-Parent handbook, which outlines all policies and information, along with a daycare contract, and schedule.
-I am minutes form Henderson Daycare which hosts a fantastic playgroup run by Ontario Early Years Centre, which we will attend (with parent’s permission only) one or two days a week, from 9-11. |
