Our daycare is located away from main streets in a mature and green area. We are also located in a family-oriented neighbourhood and are with-in walking distance to elementary and secondary schools.
Daycare Provider:
My name is Dana, I am a stay-at-home mom and have been caring for children for well over 15 years. I'm a young adult who is loving, patient, and a smoke-free person who enjoys caring for children. I'm also happily married with a 7 and 9 year old boy and girl named Mateo and Tiah. I am First Aid/CPR certified, and have first aid kits available in case of Emergencies.
Indoor Play Area:
Our daycare is a very bright and cozy spacious area with home security cameras to ensure your child(ren) are in a safe environment 24/7. The play area is full of age-appropriate toys and puzzles with lots of room for art and crafts activities.
In our daycare program your child(ren) will have lots of one-on-one interaction and attention. They will also have the opportunity to play and learn with other children in a comfortable and nurturing environment that feels like home. We provide all meals/snacks and stick to a very healthy and nutritious meal plan. Menu available upon request.
Sleeping Area:
Our sleeping area is warm and cozy. We play either nature sounds or soft music while infants and toddlers nap on their cozy cots.
Outdoor Play Area:
Our outdoor play area is in our backyard. The whole area is completely fenced in and filled with lots of age-appropriate toys for every age group.
Your child(ren) will also learn basic skills and manners that will prepare them for preschool such as; how to listen, share, and take turns. They will also develop social skills, learn about the weather, colours, letters and some of the basic shapes. My main objective is to have your child(ren) leave Sweetpeas Home Daycare with new friends and many happy memories.
