Three full time spots available, before and after school care and possible part time spots (I am looking to take in no more than 3 full time (or full time spot split into part time as I want to be able to provide more 1:1 time for each child). Care starting September 2015.
A little about me...
I am a happy mother of an 8 month old little boy. My husband is a teacher and I am (was) an educational assistant. I am trained as a pediatric occupational therapist assistant and physiotherapist assistant with extensive experience working with children of all abilities. We live in a great, family friendly neighbourhood.
A little about the dayhome...
We are currently renovating our basement to move our family room/playroom to accomodate our main floor daycare (which is why there are not any pictures)
-healthy. balanced snacks and lunch (incorporating the kiddos as much as possible)
-fully fenced in yard (we like to be outside as much as possible)
-short walk to Forest Glen Public School
-toy rotation to keep things interesting
-crafts, experiments, special activites (theme days, upcoming holidays etc)
-flexible days
I have certification in Handwriting Without Tears pre-K. I include fun songs, games and activites to help develop body awareness, cutting skills and printing skills (all age appropriate). I am first aid and Level C CPR certified. I have a vunerable sectors police check along with my husband.
