Welcome to Little Apple Nursery!
It is so important that our children are spending their time in an environment that nurtures their whole being. Where they are receiving love, encouragement, and figuring out healthy boundaries.
I believe that children need to play, and play lots. Also that they need to be outside, and get mud on their feet and explore the world around them. Here are Little Apple Nursery, our beliefs are as follows:)
Gentle and attachment parenting,
spending lots of time outside playing in the natural environment, reading many beautiful books, eating as much organic non genetically modified food as possible, singing and dancing, painting, drawing, interacting with animals and other children, going on adventures, sleeping, building things with our hands, walking to the local park & water play area and so much more!
I am a elementary school teacher, and also just finished my Bachelor of Social Work.I have a current police record check, First Aid and CPR certified as well. I have worked with children from many different backgrounds for the past 10 years. I have decided to take a career break to watch my own child grow, and feel blessed that we are able to do that.
As a mother I know how important a decision leaving your child with another person is. I want to help families feel really good about leaving their child at our home, in my care. I would like to foster an environment where the childcare feels more like an extended family for your sweet babe. I support cloth diapers, baby wearing and no cry sleep methods. Your children will be in fully lit natural light spaces in our home ( no rec-rooms or basements) We have a quarter of an acre lot with a large portion fully fenced. We play in the mud, we run around in the grass, and we plant lots of vegetables. We have three dogs and a cat. All of whom are amazing with children. Our dogs will be in the lower level of our home while the nursery in open. During outside time, there will be times when one or two of them will be digging up worms with us:)
90% of all meals will be certified organic foods. We also bake our own breads, and in the summer grow a whole bunch of our own veggies. We are also very conscious about the toys that our child plays with, and yours also! 95% of the toys in our home are made from sustainable wood materials, and come from companies that believe in toys that have no harmful chemicals, paints, leads, or anything else that would have a negative impact on your child's health.
Your child will have two to three snacks a day, and a nice warm lunch. We will follow a day plan that will be outlined in the Little Apple Nursery package and contract that you will receive. This package also has the answers to any other questions that you may have. Please feel free to send a message:)
Daily Rate is $45 a day including all foods (organic milk, organic grass fed chicken,wild sustainable un-farmed fish and all organic veggies and fruits, as well as other snacks) I also cater to vegetarian diets also:) |
