Hi there! My name is Debbie – and I love children! We have spaces available in our loving home center; My Little Sunshines Playland. A little about myself: I am a mother of 3, with over 20 years’ experience in the childcare field. I am trained and registered with The College Of Early Childhood Educators (RECE). I have worked in many daycare centers, have been a Supervisor, have gone on to work at agencies inspecting home daycares and also worked as a consultant to national centers.
I offer nutritious lunch and snacks – and I don’t just say I offer healthy meals – I am serious about it! We consult regularly with a nutritionist to ensure our meals are healthy and as free of harmful additives as possible. We can proudly say our home is free of MSG, fluoride, aspartame and we significantly reduce the amount of sodium nitrates etc. We also believe in a healthier alternative to dairy milk – and provide un-sweetened almond milk in our home instead. My home is conveniently located 1 minute from the DVP (at Don Mills exit – or just across the Leaside bridge, 10 minutes from downtown) and easily reachable by transit (3 bus stops from Donlands Subway station).
My mother ran a home daycare when I was growing up, so basically – I’ve been in the field my entire life! I come with impeccable references, offer a nurturing, clean, fun and safe environment. Current Toronto Police Service Criminal reference check available. I am First Aid and CPR trained, love children, and look forward to meeting with you and your little one(s) to show you our home.
