My name is Ange. I am a daycare provider in Doon area of Kitchener. Just off homer Watson and 401. I am a mother of two girls, age 5 and 6.5, both enrolled in full time school.
I am CPR certified and updated on may 2015. Renewal every three years. Police check September 2016. My house is pet free (except beta fish in my girls rooms😉) and smoke free.
I provide two healthy snacks a day minimum and a lunch. I provide a weekly menu to parents each weekend prior to care.
Parents are given a daily update on how their child is doing each day as well as any pictures of their child (with parent permission). This is done during nap time.
In my care your child will have a nice balance of free play, crafts, outdoor time, and learning time. I use two floors of my home and fenced backyard. We have the occasional outing with parental consent.
The children sleep upstairs in a large family room with video monitors. Cots/playpens are provided
A bit about me. Prior to starting a home daycare, I worked at Toyota in Cambridge. Before Toyota, I had finished my honours BA in sociology and English in hopes of becoming a teacher. After both my girls were born I took some time off to be with them due to the shift work. During my time off, I refocused on my original goal of working with children, which inspired me to start a home daycare. I started my business in May 2015.
I love working with children, teaching and interacting with them. Every day is new and exciting, we never know what adventures we will have together, but everyday my goal is for the children to have fun, be happy and learn academically and socially.
I have experience in potty training children. As well as accommodating diets for severe allergies to: seafood, peanut allergy, gluten free, egg free, and dairy free. |
