Welcome to Ashley's Home Daycare, my name is Ashley Cullum, experienced teacher, and I believe that caring for your child is the most important task you will ever hire someone to do.
At Ashley's home daycare l offer the best of both worlds!!! I believe in learning by doing, and that learning is fun! Children should neither be pushed nor held back, but learn at their own pace. I offer developmentally appropriate activities for individual children, and helps them develop problem-solving skills.
One full/part time opening available in North Oshawa (Taunton and Harmony) flexible hours, receipts, healthy meals, dedicated play space, fenced in backyard and a wonderful preschool program which includes creative art materials, alphabet and language activities, music and movement, hands-on math and science, social activities, and games. These developmentally appropriate activities encompass all areas of your child’s development, which is the best way to boost school readiness. We believe children learn best through interacting with their environment and strive to present activities with that in mind.
Our summer plans include lots of outdoor play, trips to the park/splashpad, library, zoo etc. As well as fun indoor activities including baking, tie-die, school prep, crafts and games.
