Hello, my name is Holly. I have over 17 years of child care experience, as I was a very large part in my younger siblings' upbringing. In addition to my own child, I have also been providing daycare for another toddler for the last 11 months.
I treat each human, no matter how young, with respect, fairness, and dignity, and believe in a gentle disciple approach. Your child will not be spanked, isolated, shamed or ignored if misbehaving. Honesty is an integral part of who I am, and safety and emotional well being of the children entrusted in my care is a top concern.
I recognize that in our area, affordable rates are important, and not everyone can afford a daycare or nanny that is geared towards ensuring children are kept busy with constant crafts and extra curricular activities. I am looking to bring in some additional income while caring for my own son and tending my day to day duties. Thus, I am opening my home to another child for the natural, relaxed, at-home care a parent or close family member provides. Reading books, colouring, and plenty of time spent in my fenced back yard, or frequent trips to the park, are part of our daily routine. |
