Hello my name is Brandy and I am the soul proprietor of the Little Red Wagon Home Care. I have been in business since October 2015.
The Little Red Wagon Home Care will always be a Smoke-Free environment. I do have a lovable Golden Retriever Dog named Jasper, he will be interacting with the kids on occasions. He will be spending a majority of his day in his room or if the kids are comfortable with his lovable nature he can join in the fun.
I can offer both a French and English environment as I am fully bilingual and have been speaking to the kids in both languages.
I have a backyard play area with a lots of trucks, balls and other outdoor toys. There is also a sandbox, slide, picnic table and plenty of room to run around. It is a fully enclosed space with a deck and grass for the children to play. I also have a designated area where the kids can play with chalk. We spend a great deal of time outside when the weather permits us.
The playroom is fully equipped with Little People toys, paw patrol toys, stuffed animals, books, a craft table, cars, trains, puzzles and lots more. My daycare is located in the basement of my house with plenty of room to run around. We spend our day listening to music, coloring, playing and we do a variety of crafts. All in all we just have a fun time together.
I have a full change table area set up in the playroom and a second one located in the naptime room. I have a spare room where I can set up playpens for the kids who need naps. I do offer two naps a day for the younger kids.
I do provide a time table of our daily routine. This is to keep the kids on the same schedule and build up a routine everyday.
I am a Culinary Management Graduate of Algonquin College. This degree helps me prepare nutritious and healthy meals and snacks. I will be providing lunch and two snacks. Milk will be provided at all meal times and water throughout the day in the playroom and the backyard.
I am also First Aid and CPR certified, have a criminal background check on both myself and my husband John. And last but not least my Food Handlers Certificate from the City of Ottawa.
