Established home daycare in South Barrie since 1992.
I have temporary part time availability for essential service workers for June, July & August (possibly longer depending on the pandemic) during the day and I am open to possibly offering evening and weekend care to essential service providers that may require such. I presently have no evening or weekend children registered so I am open to offering hours to accommodate.
Hi my name is Nicole I am an ECE graduate and I've dedicated my career for the past 30 years to caring for children of a variety of ages from the very young to school age. Along the way I have had the privilege of becoming a daily part of the lives of many different families who have needed care for their children on both a part-time, full time and temporary care basis.
I strive to provide the best possible, nurturing and educational environment for children to learn,laugh and grow in.
I am First Aid and Cpr C certified,high five certified in Children's Mental health, Child Development & Sports and Children's Fitness Coach certified through Canfitpro. I have a completed police check and many references available.
My home daycare has a large indoor space for the children that is separate from the main living area with a kitchenette for preparing healthy snacks and lunches and bathroom. We also have a spacious outdoor play area for the kids to enjoy daily with age appropriate equipment for children of all ages in care. Being a martial artist and children's fitness coach as well, movement is very important to me. Thus, my programming includes lots of creative movement and fun both indoors and outdoors that is developmentally appropriate for the ages of children in care.
I provide a monthly calendar that is flexible, highlighting events at the daycare, various themes, learning concepts, outings and more. I also keep daily journals for each child that enables a great way for 2 way communication between family and daycare.
Daily child centered activities are planned, creatives, circle time, lots of songs, creative movement and music throughout the day and more.
Daycare is open Monday through to Saturday 6:30am-5:30pm
and temporarily during the pandemic in the evenings to accommodate shift workers.
(Start time is flexible/ pick up time can be adjusted depending on need)I provide annual receipts. Rates are $40/day or evening
