My name is Kirsten, I am a stay at home mom to one active little 11 month old girl. I am a loving, patient and smoke-free person who lives an active life style with lots of walks and visits to our local parks. We are a cat free home; however we do have one furry member of the family, a “Humane Society mix” dog who has been with us for five years and has exceptional manners with children.
Play Area:
Your child(ren) will have access to the main living areas in the home as well as a play and craft area on the lower level. We have baby gates installed on all levels of the home, as well as appropriate “baby proofing” where needed, as we do have a curious 11 month old living in this home 24/7.
We have a fully fenced in yard that we maintain as a clean and safe environment for children to play, plus we are walking distance to both a park and the Carleton Place splash pad.
Education:
In my daycare program your child(ren) will have one-on-one interaction with myself and other children providing the opportunity to play and learn in a comfortable and nurturing environment that feels like home. As a psychology graduate with a specialization in “Exceptional Children” and “Developmental Psychology” I believe that age appropriate learning through a combination of” guided” and “explorative” play is an important educational and developmental tool.
Meals:
Meals and snacks are provided, all of which will be healthy and made from scratch. Some of our favorite foods right now are quinoa and banana protein pancakes, chicken veggie meatloaf, sweet potato shepherd’s pie, and yogurt pops etc.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
