My name is Sarah and I am opening a new daycare in Kanata in the Katimavik area. I have years of experience working with children, and I am pleased to offer a safe, fun and caring environment for your little one. Conveniently located across from Castlefrank Public School, my home features a main floor playroom with plenty of natural light, educational toys, and a fenced in backyard. Healthy, homemade lunches and two snacks are provided daily.
While here, your little one will enjoy a range of activities to help them learn and grow, including:
- Daily outdoor play in a fenced in backyard (or at the nearby park)
- Arts and crafts
- Circle and story time
- Sing-alongs
- Educational games
- Daily and weekly themes
By focussing on learning and development, I strive to provide more than just child care. At my daycare, your child will learn numbers and letters, shapes, colours, sorting, weather, and other fundamentals while they develop language skills and learn to socialize with other little ones. In both high school and university I worked as a helper in a Kindergarten classroom. Also, for the past 15 years I have been instructing dance lessons to children of all ages. I now own, operate and instruct a dance school on a part-time basis. In University I received a Bachelor of Arts in with a focus on Child Development. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified |
