My background is in education as I have a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree and Masters of Teaching degree. I have been involved in babysitting since I was 14 years old and taught swimming lessons from infants to teenagers while I went to university to become a teacher. I have over 7 years of instructional experience ranging from grade 1 to grade 11 in a variety of subjects.
I am also a mom of two beautiful children, age 15 months and 3/1/2 years old.
I am looking for families with children that are interested in a fun educational environment that involves outdoor learning experiences, dramatic play, music, arts and crafts, kinder cooking and well rounded instruction in a variety of subject areas at the level of your child. I also have plans for local field trips that we will walk to that will enhance your child's development.
I have a police check for both my husband and I, intervention checks that are good, and standard child care first aid/aed Level b.
We are a dog friendly home as I have two Australian Labradoodles that are great for kids with allergies. Our girls will be in their dog run during the Dayhome hours. They love children and are well socialized.
