I have two wonderful children, Maya who is 3 and a half and is starting JK at Annette PS this fall, and Jesse who is 2 years old.
We are very active, and we go to the various drop in programs, parks and playgrounds most days after dropping off my daughter at Annette PS.
I love cooking, and make healthy meals and snacks. We have a fully-decked backyard with lots of fun outdoor toys (cars, tricycles, slide, etc), and a plethora of indoor toys as well (IKEA toy kitchen, toy workbench, train set, duplo, lego, and much much more).
I strongly believe that children need a good mix of activities that develop their brains, motor skills, and social skills such as reading, painting, playing, crafting, dancing, singing etc.
We are a no-TV household. We own one, but it is virtually never on before the kids are asleep.
