I have a full time space available hours for any age.
I also have a partial space and am offering a reduced fee of $965 (this includes the agency fee) for Monday to Thursday 7:30-4 and also I'm offering hourly care for $10/hour for 3 hours in the mornings. The children currently in my care are aged 2-6yrs. I am licensed through Thornhill Dayhome Agency so can accept subsidy. I do drive and take children to morning preschool (Calgary Montessori on 19 St) and kindergarten or other grades at Rosemont Elementary and St Margaret Elementary. I am offering a very educational fun dayhome that will keep your children very busy and engaged throughout the day. My hours are 7:30-5:00.
I will be taking the children to playgroups and outings such as parks, zoo, library and more during many of the days. I provide healthy meals and snacks. I have a great backyard with lots of room for the children to play and explore.
I am the only one living in the home, so lots of bight space on the main floor for your child to play! I have a smoke free and pet free home. My home is located in a beautiful quiet cul-de-sac that is just off of 14th Street so easy access on your way downtown (located close to Sait and 21 Ave)
There will be lots of crafts, games, songs, dancing, dressup, free play, limited tv time (only for those who do not nap can watch a show for up to 30mins) and sooo much more! I will have themes but they can be adjusted to fit each child's current interests, since children need to be interested while they are learning.
A bit about me: I have been in the childcare field for many years and love teaching children and providing many fun and educational activities for them throughout the day. English is my first and only language although I am currently working on improving my limited French knowledge and am sharing that with the children as well. I was born in Vernon, BC and have lived in many towns around BC and some in AB. I have worked in many areas of childcare; I worked in preschools, daycares, Disney cruise line, and respite and skills worker for children with special needs, ran a dayhome before and was a dayhome consultant. I went to college to obtain my Early Childhood Education Supervisor certification (Level 3) and I also have many workshops and conferences that I have attended. I have my food safe certification, first aid and criminal record check and welfare check.
I guarantee your children will feel safe and happy in their home away from home and you will be able to have the comfort of knowing that your child is very well cared for and happy!
