Hello There!
My name is Lisa and I am a Stay at Home mom to two wonderful girls ages 9 & 4; I would like to offer Before and After School Care for two additional children (unless a group of children from one family) to and from Leigh Elementary School. We live in a fairly big house just off of Victoria Drive (on Wedgewood Street) and have a large back yard with a Costco Playset / swings and other out door toys. Our daily routine includes walking to school (approx. 5-7 minute walk), playing at the park after school (weather permitting), walking home, having a healthy snack (Organic), working on homework or reading (if needed) and doing arts / crafts / playing in the back yard.
I have decades of experience working with children, from babysitting in my teen years, to my own children (9 years), and as Girl Guides as a Leader (Sparks, Brownies & Guides) for the last 5 years. With Girl Guides I have had lots of experience with children (aged 4-10) supervising and team building, teaching new skills and crafts, leading hikes and hosting weekend long sleepovers with between 19-24 children in attendance (Ratio 1:5 adults/children). I, also, have a criminal check/clearance (completed for Girl Guides of Canada and for driving for school field trips) and am in the process of re-certifying my First Aid Training.

We are a Non-smoking household, provide healthy Organic snacks, have a clean home and equipment, available from Monday to Friday and Pro-D Days and School Breaks. We have two kitty cats, both are friendly – one is shy and the other likes to be pet and snuggle.
Availability:
• Regular Monday – Friday from as early as 6:30am to as late as 6pm ~ $400/month per child (Early Dismissals are included)
• Pro-D Days (6:30am – 6pm) $30/day
• Spring / Winter / Summer Break $30/day – negotiable as I can ferry the children to different programs if that would be helpful |
