Hi there,
I currently have 1 full-time space available for child care in our home. We have a large playroom in the basement with a variety of toys for all ages. Crafts and educational activities are offered and outdoor time is always encouraged. Our fenced in backyard has a play structure, play house, sand/ water table and lots of fun outdoor toys.
Our home is smoke- free. We have a small dog who is 15 years old and sleeps most of the day under a coffee table. I am trained as a Child and Youth Worker and have years of experience working with children. I have first aid and CPR training. We just moved back to Ottawa after living in Nova Scotia for 3 years. We have 2 daughters, one is 5 and the other is 7. Both attend Stittsville Public (which we live across from).
I offer healthy snacks and lunches. Although we are not nut- free, we are nut aware and have made our home safe for new friends.
Are you a teacher or work from home with a flexible schedule? I have 2 part- time spaces during the school year and school hours when my daughters are away.
