I have been in the teaching profession for over 20 years; I have taught children from grade 1 to grade 5 and have been a Home Day Care Provider for over 9 years.
Since the start of my profession as a Home Day Care Provider, I have been active in the field and keep up with regular gradations and training’s. I have been trained on CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse, Safety, Arts and Crafts, Health, Social, Creative, Working with Special Needs Kids, Magic of Music, Learning Environment, Communication, Early Language Development, Safety, Fire Safety, Mentoring, Home Preschool Program, Emergency Preparedness and more.
I have worked with children with special needs as well as autism, the children love taking part in creative activities and they are taken for daily walks to parks, libraries, pet stores etc.
The Children are provided with delicious home cooked meals/snacks, and each day has a programmed activity scheduled for the children according to their age groups.
As a Home Day Care Provider my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate the physical, intellectual, multicultural, social and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, building self-esteem and respect for others. |
