I am a dynamic, creative and fun loving mother and a registered early childhood educator, with years of experience from both England and Canada. I enjoy working with children of various ages, and capable of identifying children’s strengths and weakness by provide them with the necessary help and support as needed; and also, plan a developmentally appropriate curriculum accordingly, since every child learns differently.
Moreover, they will have a daily routine to follow in accordance to the Day Nursery Act. Children will have two hours of outdoor physical activities (1hour in the morning and 1hour in the afternoon according to DNA Act), except in inclement weather, whereby alternative indoor physical activities will be provided.
My objective is to develop an authentic relationship, and build trust within a shared control environment with the children in my care. Children learn best through play and hands on experiences by exploring and experimenting, having fun, socializing with their peers and learning respectively within a non-toxic, smoke free, pet free, safe and secured environment.
I will also provide healthy nutritious meals and snacks in accordance to Canada’s food guide and also potty learning when necessary. First Aid/CPR & AED certified with training in Epi-pen administration and a current Criminal Record Check.
