At Little Sprouts we feel passionate about the importance of less electronic devices & activities and more outdoor physical activities with human and nature interaction. Little Sprouts provides a blend of alternative & conventional practices and combines both play based and emergent learning.
Little sprouts caters to all food allergies & preferences. With a background in nutrition and 25 years experience in preparing the most nutritional meals, all food will be prepared in house with only the freshest ingredients. Children will never be fed over processed, over packaged nutritionally empty food. Children will learn where their food comes from with an interactive garden in the yard, and will learn mindful eating practices that teach taste and a healthy appreciation for the food that is available for us to consume. Lunch and 2 snacks will be provided daily (and unlimited pickings from the garden!).
The home is smoke free and very eco-friendly using renewable & recycled resources, as well as low VOC paints and natural décor. With an indoor vermicompost, outdoor compost, rain barrel & The Leaf (a purely electric vehichle) on the premises your child will spend their days surrounded by practices that make less of an impact on our planet. The fenced in yard is a very large and safe outdoor space to explore, and a neighborhood park 2 blocks away. We try to be as chemical free as possible and use only natural cleaning products and soaps (mostly made in house). We try to prevent unnecessary waste by avoiding disposable items such as diapers, juice boxes, etc. We offer cloth diaper service (included) during daycare hours but are are understanding if you choose not to prefer cloth.

Admission conditions
Two small friendly (ewok looking) dogs live in the house. Alot of outdoor activity will be enjoyed, so clothes may get dirty.
