Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a dayhome provider in Bowness.
(please note there is another Amanda in Bowness providing child care). I have my level 2 in Early Childhood Education that I obtained through Mount Royal University, and I received an A+ for my practicum (the only one in my class that did). I am first aid certified, and have current police and welfare checks.
My day home is located on Bow Crescent, a beautiful and quiet street that is close to 16th Ave. and Memorial Drive for easy access to downtown Calgary. I have a huge backyard (see photos) with playground equipment and outdoor toys. My home is bright, cozy and always clean. I have a large and beautiful playroom with age appropriate and developmentally stimulating toys and materials. I offer planned activities or crafts on a daily basis and we learn and sing a new song every week. I have excellent references and a reliable backup provider. My hours are 7:00am to 5:30pm Mon - Fri.
Admission conditions
I typically serve families from Ranchlands, Silver Springs, Scenic Acres, Valley Ridge, Parkdale, Crestmont, Montgomery, Varsity but have had families from Brentwood, Collingwood and even from many communities in the SW. I do have a 4 year old Border Collie that loves the kids but doesn't spend much time around them as she prefers to spend most of her day sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window.

Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
