Welcome to Grecia's Home Daycare. I started my beautiful journey into daycare business in November 2015. I used to work as a French Teacher for toddlers and preschoolers at a private school and absolutely fell in love with being a part of the children's learning development in their early stages in life and being able to see and help them grow along their way. We are a family in my daycare and treat each other with kindness and respect. Children learn better, acquire a lot more knowledge and build memories when put in the hands and environment of someone they trust. Remember that no one else understands your child better than you, therefore, and I ask that we work together and achieve all your goals you have for your little ones and together we can equip your children with all the tools and skills they need to succeed in their future and grow to have beautiful memories to look back at. I went to the University of Toronto for Psychology in children and then worked in a private school setting as a French Teacher for toddlers and preschoolers and loved teaching them basic numbers, vocabulary, songs, farm animals and daily sayings.
I incorporate educational programs in my daycare as well as play-base learning which is extremely important for your children to experience. Daily programs include a 30 minute French lesson in the morning, teaching them their beginning sounds, matching quantity with number symbols, and eventually, if ready, will teach them to read and write. I also conduct daily arts and crafts to enhance your child's imagination and creativity.
I provide nutritious snacks in the mornings and afternoons. It is a peanut-free daycare, I like to provide snacks that are healthy for your children as there is an overwhelming concern for all potential dangers that come from certain food and junk food children are exposed to in the food they eat. I avoid using processed foods as they are very high in sodium. I only provide organic snacks and lunch to children in my daycare. I believe that you are a product of what you eat, therefore, keeping children healthy at all times is my motto.
I have a lot of references available upon request. I am very energetic, very caring towards children's emotional needs and will treat your children as if they were my own. I am the type of person that makes sure everyone around me is happy and to put a smile on your children's face would just make my day.
There are a lot of toys in my daycare, nothing dangerous or small objects that may be hazardous, there is a lot of play time for the children and then of course I will be singing songs with them and reading them short story books to engage their imagination and concentration. My family and I recently moved to Kleinburg area and I renovated and painted the basement to make it the perfect Daycare setting. My daycare has a farm theme to make their imagination run through. You can see from my photos listed the artwork that has been created up on the walls.
I also do potty training. Toilet training can be done easily when your child is ready to lose the diapers. That is a milestone in their lives and I will help them get to that stage by conducting a cohesive toilet training routine.
My message to parents:
There is no best way to raise perfect babies, but together we will give them every bit of encouragement, guidance and advice to steer them on the right path. I understand how difficult it may be to hand over the care of your children to someone else. Just remember that no one understands your child better than you. We can work together to meet all your beliefs and goals and equip your children with all the tools they need to succeed in life. your children will have a positive and fun experience when they are happy and you are comfortable with their learning environment.
My Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm. |
