Kidtastic Daycentre opened in 2006, and is now in Douglasdale. 1 full and 1 part time space available.
Kidtastic is a dayhome/daycare in Douglasdale, SE Calgary. Kidtastic is a child's home away from home.
Childcare provider has a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, Current first aid and CPR, Police and Child Welfare Checks. I have been working in Childcare for over 20 years. I have worked in Daycare centres, Elementary school level, as well as preschools, and running Kidtastic. Experience with all ages.
Kidtastic is a centre that believes children learn through play. The morning portion of our day follows a preschool type format. This includes circle time, with calendar, stories, songs, weather and the word of the week. We will also do a craft each day, have centres and out door play time. In the afternoon, there is a rest time (nappers will have the opportunity to have a nap, while non-nappers can have a rest with quiet activities).
Monthly themes, with calendar and newsletters
Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are provided. Menu is on a 4 week rotation and follows Canada's food guide.
