Hi my name is Melissa Foreman and I have been running my home daycare for 10 years and before that I worked in centre for five years. I am an R E.C.E with a degree in sociology. I am also a Brownie/ Spark leader and I enjoy being on the parent council of my children's school. I have three children of my own 11, 7 and 3 in March.. Currently I look after two 3 year olds Mon and Wednesday. They will both be attending school in the fall so I will have spots open. I also look after children before and after school two of whom will leave in September because the 11 year old can look after her sister. I pick up from OLF and from the bus stop I pick up children from St. Benedict. My hours are from 7:30-5:15. I work on the school calendar and take PA days off. In September we are looking for a new friends to join us. If the friend fulltime Monday's and Friday's would be preferred but I can be flexible.
During the day I run a structured program: we have circle time, sensory play, art. songs, stories and lots of outside time. We also attend programs in the community. I provide morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack all home cooked.
After school we play games, do homework, art activites, play outside or at the park, make up plays, do science experiments and much more.
