Our Philosophy
At A Place To Grow We believe that children learn best through real life experiences. We believe children need to be children and play is the best way for them to express who they are. Through play we can open a child eyes to a world of learning. At A Place to Grow we provide the tools to do so. A In-Home setting provides the children with more one on one time, which allows the teacher to focus more on children individuality and strengths.

Our Preschool Program
A Place to grow Preschool Follows High Scope “Perry Preschool study”. HighScope educational approach emphasizes "active participatory learning" Active learning means students have direct hands on experience with people, objects, events, and ideas. Children’s interests and choices are at the heart of the HighScope program.
The HighScope educational approach is consistent with the best practices recommended by the National association for the education of young children (NAEYC).
Perry Preschool Study teaches, 1.Aproaches to learning 2.Social and emotional development 3.Physical development and health 4.Language, Literacy, Communication 5.Mathamatics 6.creative arts 7.Science and technology 8.Social studies

Your Teacher
Hello parents, let me introduce myself, my name is Ayla and I am the teacher and owner at A Place to Grow. Taking care of children has been my passion all my life. Before I opened my Preschool I worked in a couple different child care atmospheres. I have previous experience working in a daycare center, with a room partner and 12, two - three year olds,
I learned so much from my time there, that the preschools schedule and practices mirror the day care. I also have experience working as a nanny, and still watch the child to this day.I got my education at Bow Valley College back in 2012, Graduating with my level 2 child development worker certificate, which certifies me to teach preschool. I am first aid and CPR trained, and always have an up to date Police clearance check available. I am the mother of one 5 year old little girl, who also really enjoys having the home filled with other children.
