Home daycare with everything you can ask for your little to spends their days. Happy, warm, friendly, family run home daycare in the lovely neighbourhood of Lindenwoods. Our family has lived here for over 20 years. I use the entire main floor which is bright with natural light. I have my first aid, CPR training, child abuse and criminal records checks as of August 2023.
A little about me...
I am a mother of two beautiful girls who I love dearly. Motherhood is a wonderful and rewarding change I have embraced and having a home daycare is everything I can ask for to spend my days. I am so lucky to have the families that I have now. Having a relationship with the ones I care for is very important to me.
A little about the daycare...
We have plenty playtime, stories, laughter, singing, small lessons in sharing and caring for one another. We also do other activities such as stretching and practice improving fine and gross motor skills. Lots of colouring and some baking. In the summer we play plenty in the sun in my large backyard. Bubble making and nature inspired activities.
I do not discipline, but I do my best do discourage bad behaviour to one another. I do not tolerate bad language or physical harm to one another.
Healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks that I make everyday. I believe in feeding the kids whole foods, fruits and vegetables and try to minimize processed foods. For infants, I make baby food myself -no canned baby mush. I do serve peanut butter, so I cannot accept children with allergies. Food sensitives I will try to accommodate as much as possible.
I believe in a toxic free home- no perfumes, chemical filled cleaning products or artificial scents. I myself cloth diaper my daughter, so I welcome other parents who do the same! I will teach the kids that preserving our lovely planet, we each have a part and responsibility to take care of it every way we can.
