This is in a brand new home, and the brand new multi-age daycare space is bright, beautiful and LARGE!
My goal is to encourage children to flourish to their fullest potential in all areas of development. I have the resources, materials, and space to help children grow intellectually, physically, artistically, socially and emotionally by using a play-based/emergent curriculum.
My philosophy is that all children are unique, capable and lovable. Children are all strong, competent and communicative individuals. As a teacher, my job is to help guide and nurture their curiosity and learning by facilitating a safe and inquisitive environment with lots of open-ended materials.
Schedule includes:
- Free Play to enhance socialization and language skills
- Healthy morning and afternoon snack
- Interactive and fun Circle Time
- Art time using various mediums
- Washroom and diapering times
- Nap time
- Book time and puzzles for the children who do not nap
- Outside time and various field trips/community walks
- Parents receive a binder with various documentation i.e. pictures, art, letters, scribed conversations, and projects (similar to Reggio Emilia approach style of documentation)
My Qualifications:

- First Aid
- Food Safe
- ECE Certified
- Infant/Toddler Certified
- Criminal Record check
- Glowing References
- English and Chinese
I wish to provide quality service in the area. I will strive to create relationships and open dialogue with all parents/families.
I am licensed for a multi-aged daycare space. I can accept infants, toddlers, and ages 3-5.
My (flexible) hours are 7:30 am - 6 pm and I am willing to provide Saturday care if given advance notice.
