I have 12 years experience as an RECE and have spent over 10 years working in a licensed non-profit daycare centre prior to opening my private home daycare. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and have participated in the Good Beginnings course for preschool nutrition. I have a clean and updated Vulnerable Sectors Check.
I provide lots of opportunities to learn through creative activities, circle time, free play and outdoor play in our backyard. We are within walking distance to 3 parks with 2 splash pads for the summer months.
I prepare a healthy homemade lunch and 2 nutritious snacks each day. We are a smoke-free, nut-friendly home.
Our facilities consist of:
- A large playroom with an attached bathroom and diaper change station.
- A spacious backyard for outdoor play.
- A family-style dining area in the kitchen for snacks and lunches.
- All naps and rest times take place throughout the main level of the house.
We have 2 very affectionate and gentle dogs who spend most of their day lounging on the main level.
