Hello My name is Angele I'm a mother of 3 beautiful monkeys ages 8,4 and 2. I have 3 cats.
My home daycare has been open and operating for 8 years. I have cared for many kids over the years of all ages. In 2021 we moved to a larger home. This has been wonderful! More room to play. More storage for the daycare stuff and a much larger yard.
We love to sing, do circle time, read books, color and craft, go outside and learn our alphabet, numbers and sight words.
We journey to the local parks, library, playgroup, splash pad and shops often. These experiences help us learn manors, public etiquette, safety rules, mask wearing, hand washing and so much more.
We stick to simple weekly themes with books, sensory binds, play, crafts and/or songs to help us learn, have fun and relate to everyday life.
I provide breakfast(if needed), lunch and 2 daily snacks. I like to say I make healthy meals, with the guidance of picky eaters. haha. I do my best to have a variety of healthy items that the kids enjoy because I hate waste. We use sippy cups and water bottles. We learn how to use a fork and spoon. I am very much about letting the kids feed themselves and getting messy.
Part of our everyday is going to the bus twice a day. It really helps us stick to a strict routine. We have to bring my boys to the bus every morning. We get ready, I encourage the kids to dress themselves, I help of course. It's a long learning process and that ok because it prepares them for kinder garden. With remote learning during covid we stick to the kids outdoor and lunch schedules too.
Nap time is essential but I do understand that not all kids nap. So learning to keep quiet and have quiet play is important.
I am loud, bubbly, kind and loving. I love each child as I do my own. Will you be the next family to brighten our lives? I can only hope. |
