I am a proud mother of three wonderful children age 2,4 and 6 years old. I have stayed at home with my children for the last 6 years providing daycare for a few families over the years. I have absolutely loved having a home based daycare and being able to watch and encourage children to explore, grow and learn in the world around them. Instead of returning to work as a developmental services worker with children and adults, I have decided to continue providing daycare services in my home. Ideally I’m looking for one family in need of part time daycare care (3-4 days a week) and/or before and after school care. It is important to me to be able to spend quality time with the children because they are only little once! For this reason I only offer care to a few children at a time. I am located in north Bowmanville on Scottsdale drive. We are on several bus routes such as Duke of Cambridge and St. Elizabeth, and within walking distance to Harold Longworth public school.
I provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment with lots of TLC for your children. Our days are filled with educational fun filled activities and learning experiences. We visit Ontario Early Years Centers, library programs, zoo trips, indoor playgrounds, outdoor parks, nature walks and much more several times a week. When at home we are always busy spending time and learning together (because that's’ the best part!). Together we read, play games,work on our letters and numbers, scavenger hunts, crafts, worksheets, sensory activities, baking, science experiments and much more! I also enjoy spending time outside with the kids in the yard, coloring and making mazes with chalk, learning to ride bikes, or catch a ball or planting a garden! Nutritious meals and snacks are provided.
