My name is Deanna Langen, and I have been running my own home daycare for almost 8 years and I LOVE it! I have my own two young children ages 8 years old and 10 years old, and I originally started this business so I could be closer to them. I have worked for Parkview Children's Centre for 10 years and wish to continue my career as a home daycare provider. My experiences at Parkview was working with children from ages 6 months -5 years of age. My home daycare program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to Early childhood education. This program is a play based program that facilitates to the needs and interests of the children. The environment that the children will be exposed to will focus on learning through relationships, research, art, and play. Within the learning environment children can explore a wide variety of materials that will help their developmental growth cognitively, socially and emotionally.
Children will be provided with nutritious meals and snacks and provided with a monthly menu. Also the children will be exposed to indoor and outdoor play experiences, and a resting period.
I have First aid and CPR training, along with my criminal record check. My husband also has CPR training and a criminal record check.
