Hello Momma's and Dadda's!
I would LOVE to welcome you to "Bunny Burrow Family Daycare" opening July 16th.
We are located at 209th and 48th near Newlands Golf Course in a quiet, beautiful neighbourhood with a brand new large play ground and water park just one block away. Our home and daycare is in our 2 storey house with our daycare opening on the main floor. It is 1200 square feet of above ground space and lots of light. We have a completely covered playspace which used to be a 2 car carport and is being converted into the tricycle, push car, and chalk area. We have a large yard with a gravel digging pit, tree house, swing set and slide as well as lots of gardens. Our focus is nature and child lead play and learning. Children love getting dirty and at "Bunny Burrow Family Daycare" we allow children to explore and get as muddy as their hearts desire. Our midpie station is the perfect place for this.
Inside we have many different stations for young ones to explore. Our sensory station (rice/ noodle table), the market/kitchen, our under stairs hobbit hole, reading corners, crafts/painting area, dress up, and many toys such as trucks/cars, doll house, train table, etc.
Our schedule includes:
*Free play with me
*Morning Yoga (We use Children's Harmony Yoga Program) Even the most wiggly bunnies love 'making pizza' yoga!!
*Story time
*Snack
*Music/Dance
*Outside Play
*Lunch
*Nap
*Circle Time/Felt board stories/Rhyming
*Outside time (walk to playground one block away)
*Snack
*Crafts
*Free play
This "schedule" changes according to how the little bunnies are feeling and what they are wanting to do.
A bit about me:
Hello! My name is Brittany. I am 31 and a mother of two loving, sensitive and sweet little children ages 3 and 5. I currently work for the Langley School District as a Special Needs Education Assistant and have for 9 years. I run family daycare every summer for the last 4 years and have decided to quit my job and open up our licensed family daycare full time as of July this year.
My Husband, Stephan, has worked as the Child and Youth programmer for the City of Surrey for 10 years and is graduating this May as a Education Assistant working in the Langley District.
Our rates are as follows:
$790 full time (4/5 days) ages 3 -5
$810 full time (4/5 days) ages 1-3
Snacks and lunch are not included as children are most comfortable with their own family food however we have 1 day a month where we all cook together (I say cook loosely, as it's usually home made pizzas and they just put the cold toppings on)
When our garden is in season we will eat the fruits and veggies all season long!
