I have a in home daycare where the emphasis is on home. I consider this a child's second home and make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. I provide guidance and correction vs punitive actions. We do crafts on days where going out is not an option and otherwise we spend as much time outside as possible. We go on walks, play at many of our local parks, have picnics, and occasionally go to story times at our local library or mall.
