I am married and a mother of three grown daughters. As a parent I look back over the years and recall one of the most difficult tasks was finding the right care for my first daughter. The usual first thoughts were, I knew my child best and could someone else provide that same level of care as I did. I was lucky and she attended an awesome daycare for three years. After the birth of my second child, I operated a licenced home daycare at that time through the Region of Hamilton adhering to all government regulations, random spot checks, attending professional development courses to remain current with the daycare act and delivery of programs.

To provide an environment for children to be safe, feel secure and permit a surrounding that encourages children to explore their own interests and passions. Free Base Play along with a balance of guided activities, create a place for imagination to shine through. Children are encouraged to explore indoor and outdoors activities and their surroundings to discover strengths, limitations, likes and dislikes, self awareness and to work along side of other. Mini Tots to Tween strives to provide innovative programming that contribute to positive outcomes. With a personalized approach an a customized care plan we can equip young children with opportunities to build a positive self image. A strong emphasis to work in partnership with parents. We welcome open communication regarding their child’s care which benefits the child, the parent and the caregiver.
