My name is Rachel and I am opening a new daycare for education professionals starting in September of 2016. I am a mother of 3 children ages 10, 8 and 6 and a former nurse who worked on a medical floor in a hospital for 14 years.
I understand how difficult it can be as a parent to find that perfect person to trust the care of your children to and I want to put your mind at ease.
I will provide your child with a loving, nurturing environment. There are plenty of toys/games available as well as arts/crafts and many books to read. We have a large yard on a very quiet street and will be spending a lot of time playing outside! I would also like to do small day outings like going for walks, going to the park and going to the library if/when permitted by parents. For nap/quiet time I will do my best to work with the schedule that you have at home. Breakfast (if needed), lunch and snacks are provided but please note we are NOT a peanut free home. We are however, a smoke free, but cat friendly home!!
While I feel that structure is important I also feel this it is important to be flexible and allow children to explore things in their own time. So while there will be some structured time for arts/crafts and games etc there will also be plenty of time for your child to explore and learn through free play.
If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to talk/meet please contact me. The best way to reach me at this time is by email - rachelrhenajackson@gmail.com.
Admission conditions
Please note that I am providing daycare for the children of education professionals - teachers and EAs etc. Childcare will only be provided Monday-Friday during the school year and will be closed during Christmas/March break and during summer holidays. There will be no charge for any of the days the daycare is closed.
If parents need to go back to work prior to the first day of school to prepare for the school year, we can discuss a schedule that will work for both of us.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
