Hello! My name is Kate and I will have 2 spots available (FT or PT) for a child age 3+ in my registered dayhome located in the community of Sundance (SE).
I have an amazing group of kids that I currently care for.... I'm proud they have a play space which is fun, bright, safe and awesome for them to express their creativity and have a great day away from their home! I get excited to see each of them everyday as they have found a special place in my heart :)
I have my Child Development Worker Certificate as well as a Social Work background. I also have a clear criminal record and child intervention check as well as my Child Care First Aid. I live a short distance away from Lake Sundance where there are great parks as well as beautiful scenery (definitely will not be taking the kids swimming though!) We will be playing in my lovely, fenced backyard during the warm days checking out the flowers and playing with the cool toys. I will also be serving a delicious breakfast, lunch and two snacks.
My play space includes a felt storyboard, a chalkboard wall to draw on, a craft station, books, music, musical instruments, and tents and a play house to play in. There is also plenty of sensory, dramatic and imaginative play options. We love to be creative here!
I have two very friendly cats who like to observe all the action.
