Part-time childcare in a friendly home environment!
I offer nature-based childcare, with an emphasis on outdoor play in nearby Hampton Park woods.
I love to be with children, and my approach is based on respect, positive direction, logical consequences, and emotional literacy. I integrate art, music, dance, cultural diversity, science, imaginative play and humour into the lives of the children in my care. There will be only 4 children in my care, a great adult-to-child ratio!
We are physically active, and eat healthy, home-made food (sometimes even home-grown organic). I provide an empathetic and safe environment from which children can reach out and explore the world, gain greater confidence and independence, and expand their horizons.
Je parle français ainsi que l’anglais, but as most of my children are currently Anglophone my daycare is not a French immersion experience. I have First Aid and CPR, as well as insurance. I have over 20 years of childcare experience. |
